Atomic Structure is quite simple once you get the hang of it. Let’s start with the Electrons.

Electrons

Electrons lay on the outer shell of an atom, as you can see on the diagram below:

On the first outer shell (the one closer to the red and blue circles), you can have up to two electrons present. The next one can have up to seven electrons. The next one (not shown) can have up to eight electrons and the fourth one can have the rest.
