The Human Body is a fascinating living thing ever to exist.
If you are a bit squeamish then we suggest you don’t read this bit. The Human Body has over 206 bones and 600 muscles.
How to look after your body
One of the many ways to look after your body is to drink plenty of water. We recommend you drink milk as well (unless you’re allergic to dairy, in which case, there are plenty of alternatives) which contains calcium which keeps your bones very strong.
Another way you can look after your body is by eating your 5-a day. This means eating 5 different kinds of fruit and vegetables each day, which give you your fair share of vitamins and minerals, thereby helping your body to function.
The digestive system breaks down food and extracts nutrients from that food.
Gas exchange system
The gas exchange system makes sure that oxygen, which is inhaled through the nose, makes it’s way into the lungs, and into the bloodstream.
The circulatory system distributes blood around the body. The main organ of this system is the heart.
