By using Homework Help For Kids, you agree to this policy, which describes who collects your data, where it goes and why. Here it goes:

Matomo Analytics

Matomo is an analytics platform, which respects DNT (Do Not Track) signals and allows you to opt-out of tracking very easily. All data generated by it is stored on our own servers, so it’s only subject to this privacy policy. When Matomo records your IP, it replaces the 4th number with a 0 so we don’t know your exact location.

The analytics software collects the pages you visited, how you found this site (search, direct entry etc.), where you’re visiting us from (this is determined by the language option you set for your browser), how long you spent on each page, device information (operating system, model etc.) and any search queries you carried out using our site search engine.

You can opt-out using the checkbox below or by enabling DNT (Do Not Track) in your browser’s settings.

Your personal information

When you send us your personal information through a form, it will be used for the following purpose(s):
To follow up on your enquiry. We may use the information to answer a question you may have contacted us about.
To send you things you may be interested in via email. We may send you emails (frequency of emails.) You can opt-out by pressing the “Unsubscribe” button at the bottom of each email. If you press the “Unsubscribe” button at the bottom of the email, we will delete the email address off our servers immediately.

Sharing your personal information

We don’t share your personal information with anyone unless we are required to do so by law.

How to remove personal information

If you don’t want certain personal details on our servers, you can contact us at (enter contact email here) with the information you want deleted enclosed and a sentence along the forms of, “Please remove the data below from your servers.” Once we receive the email, if we can identify the data that you want removed and it is not essential for the services we provide, we will delete the data off our systems.
For security reasons, we will delete the email you sent us about removing the data once we’ve removed it.

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

We do aim our services at children under the age of 13. They can browse anonymously by avoiding Google Analytics tracking (see the Google Analytics section above.) We don’t collect any personal information unless you give it to us via a form.
If parents do not want their child’s email address on our servers, they can contact us at mail (at) homeworkhelpforkids.co.uk with their child’s email address enclosed and a sentence along the forms of, “Please remove the address below from your servers.” Once we receive the email, if we can identify the email address, we will delete the address off our systems.
For security reasons, we will delete the email you sent us about removing the data.
Before doing this, go to any email we have sent you and click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom. This will instantly remove your email from our systems.
